I have been a laser physicist and educator for 30 years, with more than 60 publications in the scientific and engineering literature. In addition to my extensive work in R&D, I have taught university-level physics for 10 years, and tutored students in physics and mathematics at both the high school and college levels.
Now that I’m retired, I’ve been dividing my time among several “fun” activities:
– volunteering in the Marine Education section at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota
– honing my photographic skills by capturing the tropical beauty of the Siesta Key and Sarasota County area
– writing blogs in both nature photography and everyday physics
