I have been a laser physicist and educator for 30 years, with more than 60 publications in the scientific literature. In addition to my extensive work in R&D, I have taught university-level physics for 10 years, and tutored students in physics and mathematics at both the high school and college levels.
I am now retired and living on Siesta Key in Florida. I’ve been dividing my time among several “fun” activities:
- Volunteering in the Education Department at Mote Marine Laboratory, Sarasota, Florida
- Honing my photographic skills by capturing the tropical beauty of the Sarasota area
- Writing blogs in both nature photography and everyday physics
